This hole is the first on the course that the stank could come into play with a poor tee shot. The green is protected by bunkers left and right, also a fairway bunker in front of the green makes club selection on the tee important. Wayward shots left or right bring trees and rough into play, shots over the back of the green mean a drop off the slightly elevated green and into long rough behind . This hole, called Short 'n' Sweet is always the same length but can sometimes leave you feelig a little bitter. Treat it with respect.
Champions Tip
Big hitters may go for the green but it may be wiser to lay up short of the fairway bunker and leave a short chip to the green.
