The golf season is now well underway and we have enjoyed some very good weather, which has been a vast improvement on last year. The good weather has been a great help to Phil and his team to present the course in excellent condition, so early in the season. The opening event of the season was the Captain's Team v the Vice-Captain's Team. This resulted in a narrow victory for the Vice-Captain's Team, and an excellent day was had by all who took part.

There are a number of very exciting social events arranged for the coming month. The first event is the presentation night on 6th June, which will include musical entertainment from rob Bell, who is very well known and a favourite at the club. Championship Finals day is on Saturday 20th June, which will be followed by a BBQ and disco by Chris Yeaman. This will be an excellent evening and should not be missed. The Fathers Day Special Lunch has been arranged for Sunday 7th June and it is advisable to book early with Katie to avoid disappointment.
